Description

The CNC4540Plus is a desktop 3-axis CNC router built for makers, hobbyists and small workshops. A 500 W spindle and an all-aluminium structure let it cut, carve and engrave a range of materials at home or in the studio, and its 450 x 400 mm bed leaves room for signage, decorative panels, prototyping and light production work.

It runs on GRBL control, so it works with the free Candle software and other GRBL-compatible programs on Windows and macOS. The kit includes the spindle router, a hand wheel, a Z-probe for setting tool height and a safety switch. The design also accepts a laser module as an optional extra.

It is aimed at users who are comfortable with basic CNC setup and want an affordable entry into subtractive machining alongside their 3D printing.
